This role is well-suited to someone who's detail-oriented and process-driven, and who wants to build a career in compliance or risk within a global business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Perform KYC/KYB due diligence checks on new and existing customers, partners, and vendors, verifying identity and ownership documentation.
- Screen individuals and entities against sanctions, PEP, and adverse media lists, escalating potential matches for further review.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of due diligence findings in compliance systems and trackers.
- Support periodic reviews and re-verification of existing clients based on risk rating and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of compliance reports, dashboards, and documentation for internal stakeholders and auditors.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Finance team, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
- Help maintain and improve KYC checklists, templates, and internal process documentation.
- Respond to internal queries regarding KYC status and documentation requirements in a timely manner.
- Flag any unusual findings or potential red flags to senior team members.
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in KYC, AML, compliance, or a related analyst role, ideally within financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry.
- Working knowledge of KYC/KYB, AML, and sanctions screening processes and requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive documentation and data.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and administrative tasks accurately.
- Strong written communication skills, comfortable documenting findings clearly.
- Proficiency with standard office software and comfort learning new compliance or case management tools.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to escalate issues appropriately.
- Relevant certification (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) is a plus but not required.
What We Offer At Volta, we believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted and able to grow. We're building a company where you can make an impact, keep a healthy balance between work and life, and build a career you're proud of.
- Competitive salary based on the work you do here, not your previous salary.
