This position will perform reviews of customer and program quality requirements and will ensure all requirements are identified, understood, and complied to by Hadrian’s current policies, procedures, and systems. If requirements are not currently met, the QE will own the development of new processes/systems that will lead to full support of customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Onboard new customers by mapping their quality requirements and performing gap assessments to align with current capabilities.
  • Work closely with our automation team to integrate new customer quality processes into our automation systems.
  • Act as a project manager for customer and 3rd party audits, ensuring all pre-audit tasks are accurately completed and post-audit action items are clearly documented.
  • Drive and implement data-driven process improvements based on quality specifications and flow downs from customers.
  • Develop and refine our Quality Management System to meet industry benchmarks, while also ensuring seamless integration with our cutting-edge automation tools.
  • Create quality plans and protocols in collaboration with quality and manufacturing teams.
  • Act as a product owner for quality-related automation tools, ensuring they meet customer specific requirements, production system needs, and industry standards.
  • Develop standards for customer-specific quality documentation like process maps, control plans, and standard operating procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
  • Awareness of lean principals and continuous improvement methodology.
  • Experience working with complex quality specifications, including customer flowdowns.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards and experience managing customer audits and quality requirements is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially focused in quality related tasks (inspection processes, AS9102 FAIR, source inspections, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Grasp of the fundamentals of Design for Manufacturability.
  • Experience in successfully coordinating industry and customer audits.

Compensation For this role, the target salary range is $110 - $160k (actual range may vary based on experience). This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
