Our product team own different surfaces of our platform, working closely with engineering, design, and applied AI teams. We're obsessed with shipping features that users actually understand and adopt, not just technical achievements. The team values deep product intuition, crisp communication, and the ability to translate complex capabilities into simple user experiences.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of product management experience with at least 1-2 years specifically working on AI/ML or LLM-powered products. You've built evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic systems and understand the nuances of measuring quality when outputs aren't always predictable. You're fluent in both the technical possibilities and limitations of current AI systems, and you've shipped features where model behavior directly impacts user experience. You're the type of PM who digs into model outputs yourself rather than delegating that work. You've written evals, analyzed failure cases, and have opinions about prompt engineering and model fine-tuning. You understand concepts like hallucination, bias, and model drift not just academically but from having dealt with them in production systems. Your technical depth allows you to have substantive conversations with AI engineers about what's feasible and what isn't.
This role exists because AI capabilities are only valuable when users can understand and trust them. As our Senior PM for AI Features, you'll be the bridge between cutting-edge applied AI research and shipped product experiences that millions of users rely on. You'll define what our AI does and doesn't do, working hand-in-hand with our applied AI engineers to turn fuzzy model capabilities into concrete features with clear user value propositions. Success in this role means shipping AI features that users adopt at high rates because they understand exactly what to expect from them. You'll own the full lifecycle from capability assessment through feature definition, quality measurement, and post-launch optimization. This isn't about riding the AI hype wave — it's about building sustainable, trustworthy AI experiences that solve real user problems. What makes this opportunity compelling is that you'll be working at the frontier of product management, helping define how AI products should actually work. You'll have direct access to state-of-the-art models and the autonomy to shape how they get productized. The impact is immediate and measurable: every feature you ship will be used by our entire user base.
You thrive in ambiguous, rapidly-evolving spaces where the best practices are still being written. You're comfortable with the inherent unpredictability of AI systems and see it as an interesting challenge rather than a frustration. You get energized by digging into model outputs, analyzing failure patterns, and figuring out how to systematically improve AI behavior. You're naturally curious about how things work under the hood and enjoy having technical conversations with engineers. You're also a strong communicator who can explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences without oversimplifying or overpromising. You have a bias toward shipping and iteration rather than perfection, understanding that AI products improve through real-world usage and feedback loops.
If you prefer working on deterministic systems where outcomes are predictable, this role will frustrate you. The inherent variability of AI systems means you'll constantly be dealing with edge cases and unexpected behaviors. If you're looking for a traditional PM role where you can rely on established best practices, you'll find this too experimental and uncertain. This also isn't the right fit if you prefer to delegate technical analysis to others rather than getting hands-on with model outputs and evaluation frameworks yourself.
