BASE SALARY$131k – $150k+ Equity

We are seeking an exceptional Data Analyst to join our Data team, to derive actionable insights across Product, Marketing, Talent, RevOps and other cross-functional teams. This role will report to our Director, Data Science & Analytics. This is a high-impact role that will be instrumental in helping stakeholders gain accurate insights faster, reduce reporting overhead, and build the foundation for long-term data excellence. You will play a key role in defining KPIs that provide strategic alignment for the company and work on exciting projects like population health testing and impact evaluation to drive better long-term health outcomes for the country.

This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

What you will do:

  • Build, own and manage key KPIs and dashboards, ensuring they are accurate, consistent, and governed, including end to end management of the lifecycle of an analytics project
  • Be a thought partner on how to measure success across all aspects of Garner’s products
  • Create scalable and maintainable data pipelines in collaboration with the data engineering team
  • Develop a deep understanding of your analytical domain in order to independently drive and produce meaningful insights
  • Identify gaps in current reporting coverage and proactively develop new dashboards and insights
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing dashboards to meet evolving business needs
  • Ensure consistent and reliable metrics definitions across teams
  • Advocate for best practices in data visualization, documentation, and stakeholder communication

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a similar data-centric role
  • Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards in tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and translate ambiguous business questions into data-driven solutions
  • Comfortable working independently and owning reporting projects end to end
  • Attention to detail with a mindset for automation and scalability
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and a strong understanding of its limitations and strengths
  • Bonus: Experience with dbt, Snowflake, or data engineering workflows
